During a session

See everyone's pointer

Show every participant's mouse pointer with a name tag, so everyone can point at things on the shared screen.

The person sharing turns this on: Settings → Hosting → Show everyone's pointer (off by default).

Named pointers over the shared screen.
  1. The pointer of the person sharing, labelled "Host".
  2. Each viewer's pointer in its own colour, labelled with their display name (first 6 characters).
  3. Your own pointer is your normal Windows pointer. While the host is using their mouse, your clicks wait, and a faded "You" pointer shows why.
  • The host's hand always wins: a viewer gets the real cursor only while the host is not moving their mouse.
  • Set the name others see in Settings → General → Display name.
  • All pointers disappear when you disconnect.
